My Favorite Biology Teacher Needs YOU

Biology’s my favorite branch of science! Even ask my friends. Last night I was just talking to my friends about what makes up protein, DNA, RNA, etc. Concepts like pentose sugar, cytosine, adenine, and guanine came up and I was so surprised I still remember all of those. Then I remembered my high school biology teacher, fellow musician, and friend, Sir Noel Amaya. He has inspired me in so many ways - in science as my biology teacher, in music as on of my mentors in high school, and in life as a “father figure”, especially in our immersion in Iloilo back in 2009.

He really needs all the financial help he can get.

I just found out he has aplastic anemia, a blood disorder in which the body’s bone marrow doesn’t make enough new blood cells. If it’s not treated as soon as possible, the aplastic anemia may develop into leukemia.

As the head of his family, he shoulders all their expenses, including the education of his nieces. His savings aren’t enough to fund his medial expenses. Calls for help have been spreading all over Facebook and I’ve read that his treatment include the intake of 15 vials a day which cost Php205,000, and that doesn’t include the other medical expenses.

He has inspired hundreds of girls who went to my high school and we’re all working on getting as much financial support for him as we can get as a way of giving back.

Any little bit of help will definitely go a long way. You may deposit any amount to his BPI Savings Account, Francoise Noel Amaya, 0386 4877 54

LET’S GO GUYS. Let’s help him please :( Pretty pretty please.
